About Garside Insulation, Inc.

Garside Insulation is a family owned business located in Orrington, Maine. Bob Garside worked for several years at a local sprayed urethane foam company before he and his wife, Cindy, decided to form the company in 1980.

When the company was first founded, Bob and Cindy chose to concentrate on installing blown insulation into existing homes. In recent years they attended the Blown in Blanket Convention in Denver, Colorado, and became a licensed and certified Blown In Blanket Contractor. This has allowed them to expand their business into insulating new homes.

Garside Insulation has over 34 years of experience installing blown insulation in new and existing homes in Maine. We recommend CertainTeed OPTIMA and InsulSafe SP fiberglass blown insulation.

Garside Insulation was one of the first contractors in the area to use the OPTIMA Dry Blown in Batt System. This revolutionary product line from CertainTeed has become an instant hit with both contractors and homeowners across the country.
